The living areas in the Farmhouse are all available for you to relax in and enjoy. Games and books can be found in the library, please make yourselves at home.
During the day the Farmhouse is exclusively for residents, and you may enjoy the complimentary tea station or bring snacks and drinks from the Linhay.
After 5.30pm the Farmhouse turns into the evening bar and our host will be on hand.
We generate our own electricity using solar, and a generator and battery pack, so we don't provide kettles in each room. We offer a complimentary tea and coffee drop at 8am to your room. Please find facilities available downstairs in the Library to help yourself to, throughout the day.
All taps in the Farmhouse and across the farm provide safe drinking water.
Outside the kitchen we have a is shared fire pit. Wood, matches and firelighters can be found in the Snug, next to the log burner so please feel free to light it or ask your host. Please don't forget to ask for marshmallows!
Towels and robes are provided. We also provide gorgeous natural products by Bramley, in full size bottles. If you would like to take them home you can purchase bottles from the Linhay.
Please remove muddy boots before entering, please leave boots and coats in the entrance ways. If you get soaked in a rain shower please ask the team to dry wet clothes.
A low wattage hair dryer is provided. A unique aspect of Elmley is that we are off grid, so generate our own electricity. The Farmhouse does have electricity, but please be mindful of excessive use.
4G can be picked up across the reserve, but we do recommend you switch off and soak up the nature around you.
The Farmhouse has WiFi.
As a relaxed space we kindly request that children under 12 do not stay or dine in the Farmhouse. Babies under 2 are welcome and high chairs, travel cots and baby baths can be provided on request.
