The 3,300 acres of Elmley Nature Reserve’s untouched wilderness and breath-taking beauty offers a stunning backdrop to your big day, and the range of venue spaces allows an incredible bespoke celebration with your loved ones.

Kingshill Farm sits in the heart of the Nature Reserve and is exclusively yours for your time here across three days and two nights. This gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy an epic party or a more leisurely affair; a place to gather with friends and family, without having to rush any elements of your most important celebration.

Our unique and award-winning accommodation sleeps 42 and includes the spectacular Kingshill Farmhouse, stunning coastal vibes of Elmley Cottage & 10 iconic glamping huts. You can sleep another 70 giving you the option to sleep up to 118 people at Kingshill Farm with the inclusion of our bell tent village.

Our experienced team have a wealth of knowledge to assist and offer you both support, enabling your day to run seamlessly, and for your special celebration to be everything you imagined and more.

Weddings at Elmley are truly personal and bespoke. We believe your wedding should be about you. All elements can be expertly tailored to your needs and, with accommodation included, you can create a destination wedding that is completely yours.

We believe in being upfront with our wedding prices: All quoted prices include VAT and there are no hidden charges or corkage fees.

Accommodation is paid by your allocated guests. We ask you to allocate Kingshill Farmhouse, Elmley Cottage, and 10 Shepherd’s Huts (sleeping 42 guests) for the 2 nights of your stay for us to contact guests directly for payments. Please see further details and accommodation pricing below.

The Bell Tent Village is booked and paid for separately by any invited guests requiring additional onsite accommodation.

Exclusive Hire

  • Exclusive use of Kingshill Farm at the heart of the private 3,300-acre National Nature Reserve
  • Two nights at Elmley - this runs from 3pm the day before your wedding, until 11am the day after your wedding (accommodation check out at 10:30am)
  • Capacity for up to 150 guests for a ceremony or blessing, drinks reception and seated wedding breakfast. Capacity for up to 200 guests for an evening reception
  • Indoor and outdoor licensing for a civil marriage ceremony
  • Use of the beautiful Elmley National Nature Reserve for your wedding photographs with incredible meadow, beach & wilderness views
  • The magnificent Kingshill Barn until midnight on your wedding day
  • No curfew - after midnight have an afterparty around our fire pit with marshmallow station and dedicated seating area for residential guests to keep that festival vibe going
  • No corkage fee for daytime drinks


Event Support

  • Our dedicated wedding team will provide guidance during your planning process; liaising directly with suppliers, pre-arranged access for meetings, planning, and supplier viewings in the run-up to your wedding day, on-the-day coordination and clear-up after the wedding
  • The Elmley team will be on hand throughout your stay
  • Licenced evening bar for the wedding day; fully staffed and stocked with local products, can be run on cash or account, 7pm-11:30pm
  • We will organise your Welcome Party for you and your guests staying the night before the wedding
  • The Elmley Wedding Planner – an in-detail guide to planning a wedding at Elmley with our carefully curated lists of incredible suppliers


And All The Other Essentials

We have your reception furniture covered with a choice of round tables or vintage trestle tables, wooden folding & cross back chairs, sofas & vintage pieces, lighting, including lots of fairy and festoons

We provide almost everything else to ensure your guests are comfortable and the event is seamless, so you do not need to bring anything in or worry about the boring bits!

Including: kitchen for caterers, drinks chilling, music system with built in speakers & a portable PA system with cordless mics, stocked bar, plenty of parking and loos!

Kingshill Farm and its surrounding accommodation is exclusively yours for the duration of your hire. The unique and award-winning range of accommodation sleeps up to 42 guests for 2 nights. A delicious freshly made buffet breakfast is included for the morning after your wedding day, served in Kingshill Barn for you and all residential guests.

This includes 18th Century Kingshill Farmhouse, Elmley Cottage and 10 iconic glamping shepherds’ huts and we will show you these spaces in detail during your pre-booked viewing.

Once allocated out, we will contact your guests for payments 6 weeks prior to the wedding. If you would like to cover this on behalf of your guests, we can include this alongside your venue hire.

Bell Tent Village

Create the festival vibe & spend your days at Elmley with all your friends and relatives by giving them the option to stay at Elmley in our Bell Tent Village which sleeps up to 70 people. The village has 10 luxury bell tents, sleeping 1-3 people, and 10 classic wedding bell tents, sleeping 1-4 people. The village has plenty of loos and showers and a dedicated festoon lit bell tent village area with camp kitchen for teas and coffees. All bookings will include breakfast the morning after the wedding. They look amazing scattered around the hay meadows and around Kingshill Barn and allow more friends and family to stay if they wish to.

We provide a booking link to send out in your invitations and your guests book directly with us. We put tents and facilities up as required by your guests and share the booking updates with you.


Wedding Catering

We believe food is a really important and individual part of your wedding so, to ensure your wedding is your own, we have a preferred list of full-service wedding caterers for you to choose from for your wedding day celebrations. We know and trust these teams to deliver the perfect menu and service to you. Our selection of caterers offer a broad range to suit varied budgets and tastes.

Residential Food & Drinks

Bring your nearest and dearest together the night before your wedding. We will kick off the celebrations with a welcome party in the courtyard, choose from pizza feasts to private chef dining. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring in your wedding caterer. - for up to 42 guests + breakfast the next morning for all included in accommodation prices

External Suppliers

• We have a fantastic list of recommended suppliers such as bands, photographers & florists. Please ask us for some recommendations to get you started and our planning pack covers all the details once you book


Registrar Fees

• If you’d like to hold your marriage here, there is a Civil Marriage Ceremony fee which is payable directly to A Kentish Ceremony, the Kent County Council Registrars. We will make a provisional booking for you upon confirmation with us and then they will be in touch with you directly for all other details


Extra Services

• Bespoke activities including; private tours of the reserve, spa treatments and picnic hampers. These can be arranged as optional extras

• Any additional beds that are required and any room changeovers (with the exception of the Farmhouse rooms where a turndown will be provided on the day of the wedding)
