Bookings are now open, please read the information below if you are interested in staying with us summer!
Options and How to Book
Each of our lovely 4m bell tents can sleep 1 to 4 guests. The tents are made of thick cotton canvas to a traditional design and are very spacious – you can comfortably stand up to change. The Bell Tent Village also has dedicated loo and shower block a short walk from the tents.
We offer the following options upon booking. The tent will be pitched overlooking the reserve ready for your arrival. A member of the Elmley team will meet you upon arrival to check you in and show you where everything is onsite:
- The Standard Bell Tent-
As standard we offer the tent, ground sheet and double mattress (we tried a few to get the most comfy!) a vintage LED hanging lantern, coat hangers, bunting, and a floor rug.
The cost is £95 for the night of the wedding for 2 guests. Any additional guests are charged at £10pp. Guests can then bring their own bedding or sleeping bag.
- Optional add-on of bedding-
This is an optional add-on. Including a double 12 tog duvet, two pillows and soft linen. This is £25 per double bed. To upgrade to this option please add this on AFTER the payment process.

Staying on the Nature Reserve
Staying in the middle of a National Nature Reserve is a very special experience, and Elmley is the only National Nature Reserve in the UK that you can spend the night on. You will be briefed by a member of the Elmley team upon check in and shown to the tents but we do ask you to remember where you are and use your common sense during your stay:
Please stay on footpaths and within the allocated glamping area,
Drive carefully on your way to the farm, and clear up your litter in the bins provided.
We do not allow and smoking or glass bottles in or around the tents.
Guests are asked to abide by a Code of Conduct during their stay and your booking will be taken as understanding and acceptance of this.
Please also note that as we are open to the public there will be other visitors on the Reserve during the wedding weekend.
Guests staying in tents may arrive from 11am to give you time to polish your dancing shoes before the wedding starts. Please be aware there is no electricity in the tents so be sure to come with your hair done and shirts already ironed!
On arrival, you will be met in the farm yard and shown to your tent and the site facilities by one of our team. If you're late just head straight to the barn and call us during the reception (there will be plenty of time to check in after the important bit!). Tents are allocated prior to arrival.
In case you need to contact anyone please call us on 07930847520.
Just a short walk from the Bell Tent Village will be loos and a hot shower-just remember to bring a towel and some flip-flops! The facilities will be inspected and maintained prior to the event. After this point please respect your fellow guests and keep the facilities clean and tidy.
We highly recommend you bring a torch for late night trips to the loo, and lots of cosy layers for when the sun goes down! If you are bringing your own bedding or sleeping bags from home please make sure you bring enough to keep warm! If you feel the cold, an extra blanket and cosy PJs might not go amiss for those chillier evenings.
We ask that guests have left the Bell Tent Village by 11am on the day after the wedding. As you are staying in a Nature Reserve we ask you to respect the environment and leave the glamping site clean and tidy.
Please feel free to stay on the Reserve and blow the cobwebs away with a good walk. Further details are here.
